Sally Williams Fine Honey Nougat has been announced as the winner of three prestigious international 2011 Great Taste Awards in the United Kingdom.  The Great Taste Awards are the acknowledged benchmark for speciality food and beverages, and have been described as the “Oscars” of the food world.

For 2011, over 7,482 products were judged over an intense two-month period, with all tastings being conducted blind. Sally Williams Almond Nougat won the elite Three-Star Gold award which went to only 114 of the 7,482 fine foods competing.  Both Sally Williams Macadamia Nougat and Sally Williams Dark Chocolate Enrobed Almond Nougat were awarded Two-Star Gold awards, again a sought-after award rating which went to only 608 fine food products in total.

This achievement is remarkable given the rigorous judging process and discerning judging panel which comprises over 350 fine food experts including key buyers, retailers, chefs, restaurant critics and other industry experts.
