"It is 2am in the morning - and I am awake - not unusual but certainly not normal - I live in a small town near our lovely Cape Town, Moorreesburg, went to a nearby town today and after seeing this box with the 3 easter nougat- choclate coated eggs a week ago - could not resist in the temptation....I have health problems causing serious pain and have to stay in bed for days after baking and being busy as I was a week ago...

You will ask what have 2am and choclate nougat, pain and everything else in common - I can tell you - everything - This was the first and most comforting feeling I had in a long time while having such a pain-"attack"! I am not a chocaholic or a person who loves sweet things, but I must congratulate you - THE MOST WONDERFUL EASTEREGG I HAVE EVER TASTED AND BELIEVE ME - I know all the imported ones and love a piece of good choclate or something sweet now and then...

It also brought back memories of my daughter's wedding 10 years ago = she wanted nougat as her wedding cake ....Sally Williams, you were there for me in a wonderful and tonight in a difficult time - AGAIN!

Just had the most wonderful idea - its my birthday on the 10th of April and now I know what my guests and friends are going to get as a dessert or as a snack with the afternoon coffee - I am sure it will be a winner !

"I had my first taste of Sally Williams' nougat two weeks ago. I was in Selfridges, shopping for Christmas sweets. As per usual I took a chance and asked the shop assistant whether there was any nougat in stock? I say “took a chance” because it is amazing how nougat can be hard to find in London. Surprisingly, her response was “yes” and she directed me towards a display table where there were boxes of nougat.

I noticed that the product was on launch but as trial samples were not available I decided to make a small purchase, as I had never heard of Sally Williams. Also, in the past there have been many occasions when I have been disappointed by the nougat I have purchased on spec. Either it has been tasteless, too hard, not enough fruit or nuts, etc.

As soon as I could, I opened the box of Sally Williams' honey nougat and sampled a piece. All I can say: it was amazing - the best nougat I have ever had and I have eaten mounds of the damn stuff in my lifetime!

The taste, texture and freshness of the product was mind blowing! How can I describe it to you?!?! Well…imagine this not so gooey, creamy, pleasantly sweet, heavenly, melt in the mouth, silky mixture studded with crunchy fulsome and wholesome almonds, sandwiched between two thin crispy wafers. I know that I am not doing it justice but this nougat was nougat to die for and therefore deserves my FTGFOP accolade. (Far Too Good For Ordinary People!).

"I just wanted to let you know that my family and I believe that Sally Williams nougat are the best in the world. I've always teased my dad about being a conniseur of nougats. Ever since we were little, as a weekly treat, my dad would bring home a packet of nougat. It was something that my brother and I look forward to every week. We would try to guess what make of nougat and what flavour of nougat he would buy. However when he discovered the Sally Williams nougat, we no longer needed to guess what make but only what type of nuts we were going to get.
